A promising day happened to both aspiring and professional creatives gathered last October 12 at Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier for this year’s SCOUT Creative Talks 2019 powered by Hinge Inquirer Publication.
From photography, fashion guru to journalism, SCOUT Creative Talks fueled the creative talents of all aspiring and professional creatives present on the event. Online Crib Inc.’s Creatives Team (Digital Media Agency) were present and participated in the event and learnt from professionals in the creative industry.
All delegates were welcomed with various freebies and exciting games from the event partners who also offered some free snacks and drinks. There were booths set up for taking Instagrammable photos that made the event even more exciting.
Furthermore, SM Aura Premier’s hall was packed with delegates ranging from college students to young professionals from different sides of the country. The event was graced by the speakers who are professionals in their respective fields like Yeo Kaa for art, LA Aguinaldo for content creation, CJ Cruz for fashion, Petersen Vargas for film, Danyl Geneciran for fashion editing, Jess Wilson and Coco Quizon for branding, Eric Salta for communication, and Mark Nicdao for photography.
Yeo Kaa started the talk and shared her passion for the arts. Following by LA Aguinaldo who provided the guests an advice to never stop doing content and never hesitate because authenticity is important and it is what makes you. Then, CJ Cruz stated that knowledge, hard work, and self-confidence are important when it comes to a creative career.
The excitement never stopped as other event partners opened their booths and provide exciting gifts as a price to their games.
Next from the line of professionals, Director Petersen Vargas expounded the concept of a “filmmaker’s obsession”. Followed by a fashion editor Danyl Geneciran who took the stage and illuminated us on the workings of fashion editing. While Jess Wilson and Coco Quizon shared some secrets on what makes their brand recognizable to millennials everywhere. Next is Eric Salta, Scoutmag’s editorial manager shared his knowledge from his 12-year career journey in publishing.
The world-renowned professional photographer Mark Nicdao stolen the spotlight and talked about all his personal experience from being an apprentice to becoming a professional photographer that he is now for 17 years… He also shared a lot of useful tips especially to those who are just starting a career in the field of photography, specifically on how to develop an eye for imagery and how to handle clients professionally.
If there is one thing that makes all the speakers shared in common is that, it is generally important to give a little bit of yourself whenever you are creating your content. Whether it would be on arts or film, it is important that you have the connection between yourself and your mastery because it is what makes your craft authentic.
Lastly, the event was ended by the distribution of certificates and all attendees leave the place packed all the learnings that they have gotten from the professional speakers.
